Team Advent Helps Raise More Than $8,000 for CROP Walk

CROP Walk Team AdventEvery year, more than 2 million walkers worldwide raise $16 million to fight hunger and poverty. Here in beautiful Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Team Advent joined 70-some other volunteers for a six-mile walk in the foothills of Mount Monadnock on Saturday 15 October — helping raise more than $8,000. And 25 percent of the donations collected by Team Advent and fellow walkers stay here, providing much-appreciated food to our own neighbors in need!

How Many More Pans?
How Many More Pans?

Bratwurst! Sauerkraut! Pork roast! Tasty side dishes and homemade desserts! Advent’s always-popular Oktoberfest dinner on 22 October was enjoyed by all who attended, going by the countless compliments to the chefs.

A special thank-you to those attending our Community Dinner for the first time. We hope to see you again during the upcoming Christmas season. Our monthly Community Dinners return in late January with the equally mouth-watering Swedish meatball supper.
